Sarah is a practising artist and has worked with children and young people for 10 years. Her creativity has taken her from Manchester and Brighton in the UK, to Portugal, Peru and Kenya. In 2005 Sarah won the Whitbread Young Arts Achiever of the Year for an art project at an orphanage in Kenya
Sarah has been part of the Gorse Hill Team for four and a half years, devising an array of visual arts projects for young people. She has also been involved in set design for some of the big productions we’ve had here. Sarah has also worked with some of the young musicians from the recording studio to help them develop their album (or mixtape!) art work. Alongside her work at Gorse Hill Studios, Sarah also works freelance on community arts projects around Manchester.
