Biography
Hailing from Carrington, Manchester, Nascent have been going strong as a band for several years and have developed their own unique rock sound. The band consists of four members, Bobby & Anthony on guitar, David plays drums and Ross is the bass player. The vocals are delivered by highly talented singer songwriter Anthony Kanes whose passion and Charisma truly shine through his meaningful songs and captivating stage presence.
The band members have known each other since childhood days, performing at youth clubs around Trafford, before fully commiting to the band. Their influences vary widely from Nirvana, REM, Radiohead to Muse and The Cranberries.
Their music is original yet timeless and will appeal to music lovers around the world. Their high quality sound is what we can call 'Propa Rock & Roll' and they like to view the world through rose tinted glasses, which is one of Anthony's favourite accessories that he hardly ever leaves the house without.
Nascent have a notable passion for music which comes through their soulful rock ballads. They are on an exciting musical journey and have recorded a 6 track EP at Gorse Hill Studios which they aim to release in a DIY independent fashion.
