Biography
Hannah got into singing and writing her own lyrics when she was 13. Attending her local youth club, she noticed all the guys would MC on a regular basis and this inspired her to pursue Mcing for herself. She felt passionate about performing and started writing her own lyrics back at home. She then performed around other youth centre’s in the North West.
At the age of 16, she came to Gorse Hill studios to explore her musical sound and voice. In the studio, she learnt how to make beats and from this went on to play shows at venues such as Contact Theatre and parks in Old Trafford and Sale, where her confidence and performing skills shone through. She has drawn her influences from artists such as Lauryn Hill, Kano and more recently, Plan B. She shares her skills with young people in schools, teaching them about writing positive lyrics and having confidence in themselves to perform.
More recently, Hannah won a competition to make her own music video which can be seen on Youtube. She has also performed a gig at The MusicBox in Manchester with Basha and Chipmunk. She went to Rotterdam to take part in a New School Rules weekend tour.
Hannah loves being on stage and performing, and is constantly writing her own material and is now working in the studio on a new album.
